Michelle Plant has been investigating wild bird feeding practices for several years and is currently undertaking a PhD study with the
University of
Queensland on the subject.
Michelle also works with Wildlife Interactions, assisting O’Reilly’s Rainforest Guesthouse to ensure best practices for their commercial wild bird feeding activity. One of the aims of the project is to demonstrate beneficial practices for backyard bird feeders and to encourage people to connect with wildlife.
Michelle is available to assist commercial wildlife tourism operators, government agencies and private individuals with environmental, operational and licencing requirements for wildife interactions.
Wildlife Interactions also has a consultant available specialising in backyard habitat development to help welcome wildlife back into our urban spaces. |
